No Hot Water

No hot water is one of those faults with a long list of possible causes, and the fix is cheap or expensive depending entirely on which one it is. That is why we diagnose before we quote.

What is usually behind it

If you have heating but no hot water, the diverter valve is a common culprit. If you have neither, it is the boiler itself or the controls. If the immersion is your hot water source, it is usually the element or the thermostat, and both are straightforward to replace.

Cylinder problems, airlocks, failed timers and seized pumps all show up as the same symptom. There is no way to tell which one you have over the phone with any honesty.
