Diagnosis first

We do not guess at parts. We work out what has actually failed, tell you what it costs, and then fix it. Common failures are the pump, the diverter valve, the expansion vessel, the thermostat, or a locked-out oil burner that needs the fault cleared and the cause found.

If a part needs ordering we will tell you straight away rather than leaving you waiting.

Oil and gas

Most Sligo homes outside the town run on oil. Oil boilers fail differently to gas: nozzle blockages, dirty filters, water in the tank, and burners that lock out after a bad start. We work on both, and on immersion and back boiler setups in older houses.

When it is worth repairing

A boiler over 15 years old that has needed three repairs in two winters is usually costing you more in fuel than a replacement would. We will tell you when that is the case instead of selling you another repair.
