1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Emergency Plumbing Sligo website and any plumbing, heating, or related services provided by Emergency Plumbing Sligo (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

Emergency Plumbing Sligo provides plumbing and heating services across County Sligo, Ireland, including but not limited to:

  • Emergency plumbing repairs (available 24/7 – 365 days)
  • Burst pipe repairs and water leak detection
  • Blocked drain clearing
  • Boiler repairs, servicing, and installations
  • Central heating system maintenance and repairs
  • Power flushing
  • General plumbing work

All services are subject to availability and our ability to safely carry out the work.

3. Quotations and Pricing

We provide free, no-obligation quotes for all work. All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

For emergency call-outs, we provide an upfront price assessment before work begins. There are no hidden fees. If additional work is needed, we will seek your approval before proceeding.

4. Appointments and Access

By booking an appointment, you agree to:

  • Provide safe access to the area requiring service
  • Ensure an authorised adult (18+) is present during the service
  • Inform us of hazards, structural issues, or prior work
  • Give reasonable notice for cancellations or rescheduling

We aim to arrive within the agreed time window. Emergency response times may vary but generally aim to be within 60 minutes, depending on conditions.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, bank transfer, or card payments where facilities exist.

For larger projects, deposits or staged payments may be required, as agreed in advance.

Late payments may incur interest under the European Communities (Late Payment in Commercial Transactions) Regulations 2012 (S.I. No. 580 of 2012).

6. Guarantees and Warranties

We guarantee our workmanship for a minimum of 12 months unless otherwise stated. Manufacturer warranties may apply to parts installed.

Guarantees do not cover:

  • Damage from misuse, neglect, or third-party interference
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Pre-existing issues not addressed during service
  • Problems resulting from failure to follow our maintenance advice

7. Liability

We hold comprehensive public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided or direct damage caused, whichever is less.

We are not responsible for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses (e.g., loss of earnings, business interruption)
  • Damage due to pre-existing defects or deterioration
  • Delays caused by factors outside our control (e.g., weather, supply chain issues)

8. Cancellation

  • Non-emergency appointments require at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • Emergency call-outs cancelled after dispatch may incur a reasonable travel charge.

You may have additional cancellation rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 (Ireland) for off-premises or distance contracts.

9. Complaints

We take complaints seriously. To raise a concern, contact us:

We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and provide a full response within 10 working days.

10. Website Use
